What the Advocacy, Information and Outreach Committee does:
- Advises and advocates on issues of concern to archives and archivists in Manitoba
- Identifies and develops activities required to enhance awareness of archives in Manitoba
- Promotes a better understanding and increased public awareness of the role and uses of archives
- Drafts news releases and other forms of communications as needed
