What we do
- Advise on issues of concern to archives and archivists in Manitoba
- Identify and develop activities required to enhance the awareness of archives in the province
- Promote a better understanding and increased public awareness of the role and uses of archives
- Draft news releases and other forms of communications as needed

Both the Association of Canadian Archivists and the Canadian Council of Archives have been strong advocates for the archival community at a national level.
