Finance and Grants Committee
The Finance and Grants Committee advises the Board of Directors on matters relating to the allocation of grants to recognized individuals and institutions and on the establishment of criteria to determine such allocations. Specifically, this may include the following:
- Examine and make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding the funding priorities within each Canadian Council of Archives (CCA) grants program;
- Establish evaluation criteria and develop assessment forms to be used in the adjudication of grants;
- Develop and deliver orientation sessions to assist Association members in completing the various CCA grant application forms and in understanding the eligibility and evaluation criteria;
- Adjudicate the applications received for the various CCA grant programs;
- Maintain liaison with the CCA and distribute any information on changes related to its grant programs;
- Administer the Association's professional development and training travel bursary (LAP program)
